Guide to Buying Firearms at INTER SURPLUS

Here is how the purchase and possession process works:

1. Placing an Order

You can place your order directly on our website.

2. PAL Verification

A valid PAL is required to purchase a firearm, firearm parts, or ammunition. Please enter your PAL number and date of birth in the Notes section of your cart. If you forget to include this information, you may also send us a copy of your PAL by email. We will then complete the necessary authorization steps with the RCMP.

3. Shipping / Delivery

  • Firearms and accessories: shipped via Canada Post with 18+ signature required. If you are not home, a delivery notice will be left so you can pick up the parcel at your local post office.

  • Ammunition: cannot be shipped through Canada Post. It is shipped via GLS, UPS, or Purolator, with signature required. Note: ammunition cannot be delivered to a PO Box.

You may also pick up your order at our warehouse by appointment, which allows you to avoid shipping fees. To schedule an appointment, please email us at info@intersurplus.com or call 873 375‑4277.

4. SIAF Transfer (Québec Only)

We handle the transfer of the firearm through SIAF. We kindly ask you to verify, a few days after receiving the firearm, that the transfer appears correctly in your file.
